In this day and age you should be using politically correct, sustainable and bio-degradable Green Magic.

(Hell, why am I wasting my time answering such dribble!)

I can't even begin to imagine how to answer your question.

For one thing, most of industrialized society believes magic is bogus. Science has become our primary model for understanding and manipulating the world.

For a second, I don't know of any belief systems that practice "white" magic. There's the Church of Satan, which practices "magic" but I doubt that anybody is going to call it "white magic."

In point of fact, I've never heard of "white magic" outside of fantasy novels. You could perhaps look into paganism or Wicca if you were seeking more druidic style magic, but the irony of course is that a lot of society would consider these groups to be using "black magic" as well (although the groups themselves likely do not consider what they do to be evil).

Asking if magic works is like asking of prayer works. If you are a believer, I'm sure that you will find that it works. If you're not, I'm sure that you will find that it doesn't. It's pretty much all in how an individual understands their world.

Good luck in your quest!

All magic is, is a tool, much like a hammer. It's like going to a DIY shop and asking if their hammers are good or evil. That tool can be used to build things (good) or beat somone (bad). It depends on the person who is using the tool and their intent with it that defines whether what it is being used for is good or not. As for it working, magic is similar to the concept of prayer in some religions. The best way to research this is by practising it and seeing the results for yourself, then deciding. You can't research cooking without cooking!

Magic is magic, whether it is white or black. You must ask yourself when you experience something "Does that come from God" if it does fantastic, if it doesn't there is only one other being it can come from! Your really don't want to get involved in magic, astrology etc.

the difference between white and black magic is in the way it is used, white magic is used for good while black is used for bad, and yes it can and does work.

Magic does not exist. So, by definition, white magic does not work.

please be enlightened. there is not such thing as white or black magic. magic knows no color distinction. it is an energy that can be used for whatever purpose by the user. however, please note. if not used with respect tis the user who takes the consequences.
