If you are in Internet Explorer, I've found that accidentally hitting CTRL and + will increase the size, hold them down and it zooms in CTRL and - will do the opposite.
I only found this out today when I tried to do an underline(shft and -) but did ctrl and - instead. Took a while to work out what I'd done and how to correct it. But if you want big text, press ctrl and + and zoom in.

If you have a special keyboard, It's possible that you reset your screen resolution to a lower setting. Try right clicking on the desktop, left-click on properties, go to Settings. Then move the slider bar under "Screen Resolution. "

Go to control panel > appearances and themes> change screen resolution . Restore your picture to its original size, whatever that was, you might have to pick a few before you find out what the normal size resolution was before you made the change.

The resolution must have changed, right click your desktop where there aren't any items, and click properties, then when the little window pops up click settings, and change the slider to your desired resolution.
