Maybe you listen to the wrong radio but 1) there are other countries with us in Iraq and 2) there were nearly 10 years of diplomatic effort which accomplished nothing.

He went to the U.N. at first and they spent 9 months
fooling around before making Inspections in Iraq looking
for WMD. Well, they were moved to Syria in that length
of time. Almost 98% of the congress was with him after
911 to retaliate against the terrorists. Only after they
saw things weren't going so good, did they all say they
were against the war after they were for it earlier. So,
Bush didn't exactly "go it alone". How do you diplomat
with terrorists and countries that's only purpose is to
kill you and bomb your nation off the face of the earth?
They don't want "talks", all they know is kill, torture, kill,
torture, bomb, murder men women and children if they
are not Allah followers. That probably means you.

we've spent billions to help poor international places in Africa and different parts of the international. the placement is the corrupt Governments take the help for them selves. added better Obama Pelosi and Reid have already out spent the bush administration. case in point Obamas restoration and reinvestment BS change into darn close to one thousand billion funds (that doesn't comprise interest on the non-public loan to pay for it).

I know the word Coalition is an awfully big word for a liberal but let me define it for you, it means he did not go it alone and after Saddam violated 17 UN mandates it was the time to take him out!! Tens of billions of dollars means nothing, when we own the printing presses!!

President Carter tried unsuccessfully to negotiate with these psychos for fourteen months while they held American hostages. We are not dealing with reasonable people.
Who would we negotiate with? Osama Bin Laden is on the FBI's most wanted list, alSadr is a known murderer - and these are their supreme religious leaders !!

1) There was no diplomatic solution.
2) We didn't "go it alone". We have a number of allies.

Yeah and then more attacks could take place in other major cities in the US and we could pay billions of dollars in repairs and lose 1000's of more civilian lives. Does that sound any better to you?

You have got to be kidding!!!! Have you been living under a rock? Dah...that was used for years by everyone including the U.N. and where did it get us? "Diplomacy" and "Hussein" do not go together. For that matter, "Diplomacy" and "Terrorism" will never work together. Don't you get it?

Being that the war was necessary because the UN could not enforce it's own resolutions, we will never know how much could have been saved!!!!
