Tell him! 'come out of your cocoon' and 'open your pupal's'.

He's spinning you a yarn. He simply slipped into a straw steeped in some sangria and is sleeping off his sluggishness. Shameless Slipknot has been skiving, stopped sewing Shantung, supposedly striking over silkworm salaries in Shanghai. Sober up slipknot by shaking and stirring him from his stupor with a shower of shandy.

Sit on your sofa, stick the straw in your gob and suck. When Slipknot slips, smear him with saliva and swallow the slimy little sod. Situation satisfactorally sorted.
