I don't know what you did, since a 94 Ford Taurus doesn't have a "parking switch".

Get in the car, turn to key to the run position, and step on the brake. Do the brake lights come on? If not, there is your problem, that is what sends the signal allowing the shifter to move. If the brake lights don't come on, check both the fuse and the switch and replace which ever is faulty. If they do come on, you will need to tow it to Ford to have it fixed.

Look for a problem in the brake light circuit or the solenoid that locks it in park unless the brake is depressed. Or a broken linkage or park pawl inside the trans.
