Double Standards?

i need some interesting double standards.... preferably acceptable double standards that are accepted by the public as ok but i will take what ever you got

I am looking for something more on the acceptable side...such as... It is a little bit more reasonable for a white guy to get in trouble for using the n-word but a black guy it would be alright...

Let's see, there are many, aren't there?

One would be that many women want to be the power-earner of the family, but then complain when they think their husband isn't making enough income.

Another would be when a college suspends a student's scholarship because he or she is on academic probation, but still allows a studnt athlete to continue his or her scholarship AND playing time.

One more - If a parent has a biological child and a step child who are around the same age and situation, but they have different (unfair) expectations of one over the other.

A double standard is a little different than hypocrisy. Make sure you think through the responses you get so that you get a true double standard.

A man who asks out a woman is just asking out a woman. A woman who asks out a man is "forward" or worse.

If you're muslim and pray at the airport, you get arrested. But if you're Christian, no one notices.

If a woman slaps a man because he said something snotty, she's justified. But if he slaps her back, he's a wife-beater.

Earrings: women are expected to wear them, the more flamboyant, the better. Men, on the other hand....

One set of pierced ears are okay, but pierce anything else and your folks think you're some kind of punk.

A classic double standard is if a guy has many sexual partners, he's a hero, but a woman whom has many sexual partners is considered a sl*t, next to zero.

Dating is one big double standard
Teenage girls typically have different rules than their brothers.
If a man sleeps around its alright, if a woman does it then they are considered tramps and horrible people.
