I just sent out my mail on monday at 3 o'clock, and pickup was at 4:30 pm. and my bills are due on next monday, do you think it would make it there on time? See the thing is, i didn't get my bills until saturday, so i sent it on monday, and so its due the monday after that. So it would be their fault right? And i shouldn't be charge with a late fee or anything right?

Most mail should get to its location within 2-3 days, if you are sending from a U.S. address and sending your letter to a U.S. address.

However, if the mail was important, you can probably expect the post office to lose it for at least 2 weeks, and at the most forever.

I think they will make it anywhere in the U.S. in that time as long as you mailed it from the U.S.

I wouldn't worry about it if they are a day or two late... they are postmarked for today (11/29) and they are due on Monday (12/4).

As long as they were sent from the US to somewhere else in the US it shouldn't take more than a week for them to arrive. However, the closer you get to Christmas, the longer it's going to take!

Just for future reference, it's best to deliver them directly to the Post Office to get them out that day.

Also, the credit card companies, and some utility companies don't give a damn when you mailed them out, they just want their money, and sometimes will charge you a late fee anyway. >I

GOOD LUCK THOUGH!
