In the 8th grade what GPA do you have to get to have high honor roll?

There is no one standard; every school is different. "Honor roll" can be as low as 3.0 (a "B" average) or as high as 3.5. Since you said "HIGH honor roll", your school probably has degrees of honor. "High" could be 3.5, 3.75, or even and 4.0.

All the schools that I have been too say that in any grade to be on High Honor Roll you need to have a 3.5 or above.

This is a question best answerred by a counselor or teacher at your school because not all schools have the same standard. Many schools use 3.5 on a 4 point scale, but as I wrote, your school may be different.
