Canada's wonderful but Germany can offer alot to someone interested.
Depending where they go and what they like...
Better scenery.
More culture.
More history.
Better baked goods.
Driving distance to all European countries and beyond.
Better education.
Europeans seem more open minded and to a degree 'freer'.
Sounds pretty good to me ;-)

It would be very strange to do a "reverse immigration". Both countries are socialistic and heavily taxed. Stay put.
More people move TO Canada than leave.
