Hi,
The first choice is:
A swine of pigs

But there are others that are also correct, they are:

A farrow of piglets
A litter of piglets
A drove of pigs
A herd of pigs
A sounder of pigs

By the way, what did you think the answer was?

In what country? Since I live in Canada you get Canadian answers. Here's to your beer!
A group of baby pigs kept in a farrowing pen are most commonly called piglets. Piglets = a group of new born or young pigs.
Grown pigs are frequently called a herd, however a group of adult pigs are just refered to as "swine". There is another, much older term which I cannot find (or remember).
Have a great day!
P.S. Some may give you a not so nice answer - police. s+tfrequently b

It's a herd of course, but you need to define "pig" first. If it's rozzers the collective noun is a stationcanteenfull. If it's an ill-mannered person the word is either a blight or a boorism. If it's Cuban it's a Bay. And so on and so on.
Reach for the pint after you've devised your own collective!

I'm with Aled H on this one. It's a singular of boar or a sounder of swine so, since in my book a pig is more of a hog than a swine, I guess it's 'singular'.

A drove, a herd or a litter for normal pigs. A group of piglets is a farrow and a group of wild pigs is a sounder.

I know this for sure.
Swine is used for adult pigs, Piglets is used for baby pigs!
Hope this helped you out, enjoy the beer!

It's a herd. I have a whole herd of pigs that live right next to me so trust me on this. But if you win the beer you have to share!
