but Didn't grow up speaking English, she learned it in school.
Her first language is Spanish.and her parents are from Argentina and Mexico.and her mom isn't really Mexican shes Spanish her family just moved there from Spain a long time ago

She is not adopted she was a model first she grew up in a spanish speaking household and learned english as a second language as a CHILD in school...she is fair skinned because she is of European decent like the origanal spanards who invaded mexico and all of south america...don't be so niave that they all (those from mexico and south america) look like they mexicans and such portrayed in movies and TV they are not all on how should I put this...indian decent which were the nativies of these countries before the europeans came to these countries looking to pilfer and plunder there beautiful lands

What I was reading in a paper. That alexis's mom is mexican from mexico. That she didnt know any kind of english and order for her to become an actress she had to learn english. Thats what I read. No, she is not adopted.

no she is not adopted, she is jsut bi-racial. Her father, Martin Bledel, is Argentinian, and her mother, Nanette Blake, is Mexican.
