Can you reduce your hours to one evening a week? Or maybe quit just now and then go back in the holidays/ when they're short staffed.
No point ruining your future for the sake of a part-time job.

yes. having a degree is more likely to give you a high paying job in the future. by risking it with a job at blockbuster you're risking that possibility. perhaps cutting the hours you work there would help, but dont risk wasting 3 years hard work, and potential debt for the job you have when you've still got a bright future with your degree. unless it s a degree in how to work at blockbuster in which case dont worry cos you'll do fine

Can't you do less hours?
Or if the job is really important to you could you change to do a part time course and work more hours - that way you would come out of uni with less debts.
Anyway think about the long term with this issue.

Obviously any time doing other things can affect course work.My memories of uni were that there was always plenty of spare time, I was a voluntary teacher and I put in 20-30 hours easily and still managed to come top in the year.

If you need the money, try and find another job before quitting this one. Try to find something that will work around your school schedule better to give you time for study (& rest). If you don't need the job, definitly quit and concentrate full time on your schooling. Good luck!

Cut down on your hours, if you can. I used to work at Blockbuster too and know about the free rents you get. And trust me, when you need to unwind, you need those free rents to relax from the stress of university. Good luck.

If you can afford it I would quite, why struggle. If you need the extra income then ask for the weekend hours only or a day or two on the weekdays and the weekends or no weekends. See what fits your schedule and what you can handle.

Quit your job then you won't have the cash to go out and then you will have more time to study. You can work flat out out of term time to make up for it.

HELLO...
Can I suggest talking to your manager. If he is a nice enough person they might cut down your hours. This way you get the best of both worlds, get to keep your job and study more

Have a word with the Manager and see if you can reduce your hours, eg. just do Saturdays/Sundays as you enjoy working there.
