Do you sweat a lot? Are you overweight? Is your bedroom too warm? Does your pillow breathe? (DIfferent pillows circulate air differently?) Are you on medications that can trigger sweating? THere are a lot of reasons. You have to look at your own life and circumstances.

There could be many reasons for this from undiagnosed infection to simply using the wrong pillow! If you feel fit and well normally then the chances are it is not an infection of any kind. If the sweating is confined to just your head it is likely to be over-heating of some kind.
Pillow the wrong material, bedroom too warm, too much bedding etc. If you are on any medication read the side effects listed as sweating is quite common effect of a variety of meds though usually this is general sweating and not just on waking!
If you cant think of a possible cause and are worried by it you should see your GP and discuss possible reasons.

Try leaving the windows open at night so you get a cool breeze
coming into your room. I used to sweat quite alot because the
windows were closed.

You could have a variety of problems and should see a doctor about this. It is a symptom of Hepatitis and TB. You should discuss this more in depth with your health care provider. You could prob get tested for TB, Hep C and B and HIV and rule those out at the Health Dept for free.
