Real. Cuz so much about christmas is faked and perverted, that you just have to bring the real in.

We loved to take the kids and get a real Christmas Tree each year....but now they've grown up we get out our artificial tree. Phew...what a relief.
The worst thing about having a real tree for us was taking it out of the house when Christmas was over and thousands of pine needles strewn everywhere!

Fake there are fewer pine needles, no tree sap on the carpet, and save the real pine for a wreath on the door, for the pine scent.
