Do you prefer cakes to be made at home or at the bakery?

They're much more moist and delicious that way.
I make my daughters birthday cake every year. It's more fun that way too, and personal.

I would pick at home for a routine cake.

I would pick a great bakery for a birthday cake or other ceremonial treat like that. A routine bakery would not do since I can do as good as that at home but I can't make something decorated spectacularly like a fancy bakery does.

I make the yummiest cakes! Bakery cakes...you don't know how much...or how little they put in. You can't control that! But at home...you can control everything! You're the chef! If I get a cake--as a gift...I'd prefer it from home too!

Either one, which ever tastes better. My cakes are generally healthier and more satisfying cuz I know I've made it but store bought cakes sometimes taste better.

Bakery are better but they are rare to find when they're vegan so they are super expensive.
