I have had a couple of jobs where adults sit around coloring. One job was a reservationist for Ramada Inns. The next job was at Whirlpool. The manager said "if you want to advance in this company I reccomend that you don't color, but coloring is not prohibeted." This I think is the ultimate in juvenile behaviour run amok. If you answer "its cool, I do it," then you are automaticly not cool.

I think coloring is relaxing and let's adults feel a sort of.. freedom? A child-like escape from the world. I love coloring, and I could care less about whether it's cool or not.. It's a mildly creative outlet to help deal with anxiety and pressure that's often put on adults with stressful jobs or lives.

not something I would sit and do while I was at work, but if the situation arose, say with some kids or such, I wouldn't hesitate to join in. Coloring can be relaxing. I like drawing a bit more though. ;)

what does it matter how someone chooses to relax,some people knit some smoke some color,its harmless and relaxing
go to Montana's restaurant(chain name) they have brown paper on the tables and crayons,also look up some of the new relaxation technics they are teaching corporate types,
being judgmental is juvenile

I don't really get what you mean I've never heard of that but I do think that it's a little childish if adults color first of all because it's more for kids and second of all they should be doing their job!
