sending a birthday gift through the post and don't want it damaged.
so what protective gear should I use?
bubble wrap?
foam padding?
the polystyrene shell shapes?
newspapers?
or what do you use?

depends on the item but......
first bubble wrap around the item.
put it in a box that is a bit bigger, so there's room to pad it out.
then either more bubble wrap or foam padding to pad it out and stop it from moving around.
but also make sure its a strong/sturdy box.

Bubble wrap and padding of some kind is best, like foam. newspapers are useless.
