linebacker might be to late and to confusing im going into the 11th grade next year should i think about switching or should i put on weight if so whats the easiest way to get bigger

Your still growing.. DE a good position, but here is more to being a good footbal player that size and muscle.. Speed, quickness, football smarts and being aggressive have to be there too..

without the desire, dedication and discipline you will never be a great DE..

well i would say that at 6'3 you have the a strong height in high school. At 200 pounds you might want to bulk up a bit more because of the offensive lineman weights. The average offensive lineman's weight in high school is about 220-230.

that is pretty good size for a high school end but the option of converting should be based on your speed not size. if your fast enough where you and your coaches think you can play linbacker do it because a linebacker that size will attract college attention not to mention be a terror for opponents in high school.

To play defensive end you need to be quick and strong. Don't add fat, add muscle. Plus keep in mind flexibility. As a defensive end you push, shove, and pull a lot. And you try to get around linemen to get to the ball. Nothing beats quickness. Yet you can't learn how to be quick, it's based on natural ability.

at that size,your great for d-line.if you want to add a few muscle pounds make sure to eat healthy, work out alot,and eat nutrition bars.

It would be good if your thinking for a power d end so my awnser would be yes end unless you got speed then convert

thats pretty good...size doesn't matter....i'm a 170 starting defensive tackle....my coach told me if your gonna be little you might as well be a ##### so thats what i aim to do make the other team hate me

hit the weight room and protien helps put muscle on talk to yor coach and tell him what you are thinking and go for it

thats a great size, you could gain a few more muscle pounds by working out: lifting, squating...
