Every stae has two senators. The number of representatives is dependent on the state's populatrion and can change after each census.

Maine is a blue state with two Republican Senators - both female - both very popular.
Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe. First elected in 1997 and 1995 respectively.
With a total population of just over a million people - we have only two Representatives.
Tom Allen - Democrat
Mike Michaud - Democrat
