Why do people like them so much?

Oh my God! This question was soooooo intended for me. Dude, I watch CSI religiously. The vegas episodes. I (WE) like 'em so much because they're effin awesome!! I mean, all the characters from this particular show are hot, but not too hot. They're normal, but they all have something about their past that creeps up on them so we can relate better to the fact that they're humans and have problems too. The anticipation of finding out who killed the victim and with what and why is just so awesomely fabulous! I can't get enough! It's just an incredibly, well put together cast and the storylines are mostly based off of true crimes so that makes it that much better. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I certainly couldn't imagine life without it!

A: They are more in depth in solving a crime. They show how to solve some of crime by using skin, hair, and other for the DNA that was left. How long a body been decomposing by what type of bugs they found feasting on the body. And many more investigations that is interesting.
B: There very little interesting shows on. Most of them are lame.

I don't know but I love CSI and CSI:NY. CSI Miami gets on my nerves. Too much personal stuff and the way Horatio talks makes my skin crawl.

I don't know because they are totally inaccurate. The protocol they follow are flawed, over glamorized. CSI Miami is the worst. When do they ever just investigate the crime scenes and work the lab. Everything but.

Because it's an interesting concept to see how foresnics experts solve crimes, which differs from other police procedural shows like Law and Order. I love the equipment they use.

Because people have a sick fascination with gore and murder. It's simply medical pornography. It's revolting and serving only to desensitize us more and more each day.
I also find it interesting that most people will watch those shows and programs that show live cosmetic surgeries, but you wouldn't catch them dead watching a live abortion film, which is something that they claim to support as not wrong in any way.
