ok so i am 13 yrs old and i have been dating this boy for 3yrs im in da 8th grade now(we dated since 6) so anyways he says dat he loves me alot and says dat he wants to marry me when we get older and stuff,and i'm in love wit him to and i would like to still know him when we get older and stuff but the only problem is this year is different, i mean alot of boys are coming at me in every direction and i all ready go wit my boyfriend and dis other guy, and now another boy wanna go wit me. also i am really starting to like this guy but i have 2 boyfriends already. i like all of them but i only really want 1 in the end. the whole question is i know its puppy love but is this considered cheating? my parents say no cuz im young it ain't like im married. but wat do u think? thanks

You're young only once and want to date, sure that's understandable. But you need to let the first boy know that you cannot commit to him right now- you want to expand your horizons and meet new people, and he should do the same. Who knows- 10 years from now- hell you'll barely be out of college- you might find that the first boy is your soul mate and you can wind up marrying him- BUT, for now, honesty is the best policy, and sooner is better. Be honest, but kind, and he'll miss you and be unhappy, but he'll get over you.

Of course it is cheating. Ur boyfriend seems to be taking it seriously so it most probably will hurt him. another thing is if u get used to this from such a young age it will get worse when ur older. try to decide which one u like best..not just looks but the one u really enjoy talking to etc.. gl :)

If you have pledged your heart to this boy, and he to yours, than, yes and no. Yes, because you have both made emotional commitments to each other. But no, because you aren't married.

Essentially, it's like couples who live together. They have made emotional commitments to each other, but haven't gotten married. Yes, if one sleeps with someone else it's cheating, but if they aren't married, there's really nothing to stop one from cheating on the other.
