I hate surprises just because I don't like everyone seeing my reaction to the surprise, but I love the thought of surprises. Does that make sense?

I hate surprises because they are 99% always bad. Like Surprise, the car won't start; surprise, you're not getting that raise this year (budget cuts); etc. etc. etc.

I like some surprises. Like here is a gift that reminds me of you. The surprises where someone jumps out of a closet and scares the living crap out of me??? NO!!!

though i do wish i could be more spontaneous, i have to admit that i am not a big fan of surprises. however, i am a good sport about them.
