I started to take birth control, but when I found out if you take birth control for a long time .I heard that when you get older it will be hard to have kids. I stoped taking them. Is it true that if I keep takeing them .It will be harder to have a kid when I want one. I take them to help me with my time of the month , but I want to have kids in a few years.

With any hormonal birth control it can take up to 12 months to regain fertility and if after 12 months they havent regained it they might have other issues Non-related to the birth control. Alot of times it gets difficult for a woman to get pregnant after the age of 30 (which is natural)

i knew a woman who was on the pill for the better part of 9 years... she finally at 40 waned a kid she has two now and didn't have probelms getting pregant with either one. thats not true. what is true is it can take a few months and in some cases up to 6 months for your cycle to return to normal after going off birthcontrol if you have been on it for years. if your that worrid take it for 6 months take a month off or take it for a year and then take time off. but it honestly does not matter. ask your doc they can tell you the same thing.

I have heard that for some women, after going off the pill, it can take some time for their systems to get back to normal so they can be 'fertile' again. It isn't something to be overly concerned with as it doesn't seem to be a huge problem for most women, but you should definitely talk to your doc about it--they will help you decide what's best for your body.

It may take up to 3 month to get pregnant once you stop the birth control (Happened to my wife). Other than that I would not worry about it.
