When you say "come out", what are you referring to? The open market or research?

There's plenty of neural interfaces being develped in laboratories around the world but none of them are available on the market as of yet. Then there's voice recognition which is an old technology, but is being constantly improved.

Then in the context of Music, you might want to have a look at Jazz Mutant's Lemur, which is currently being marketed by Cycling 74 and is absolutely superb.

I'm also currently working on motion tracking algorithms which allow interaction between a computer and user through the means of a video camera, which i'm controlling synthesisers, FX processors and video image manipulation as a VJ, but this was done as early as '92...but again the technology's maturing now.

I'm also finding the P5 virtual reality glove to be quite usable as a multi-faceted controller for MIDI data although that's by no means new...but it does have an excellent user support base, (since the company went bust and there's nobody to get funny about rewriting their driver codes etc).
