im about 5 weeks pregnant its my second baby and my stomach is showing already im very sure on my dates is this normal because 1st time round it took ages for my bump to show only started to show at five months so anyone with experience tell me please

i showed before the end of my 2nd month but i was constipated and bloated. that's pretty common , i think, good luck!

It's possible to show early but at this stage the baby is way too small to even think about causing a bump. I thought the same thing, when I was 8 weeks I swore up and down I was showing, and since this is my fifth pregnancy I just knew I would look like a blimp before the end of the first trimester, but, come to find out I was bloated. I retained a lot of water and my fingers were swollen every morning, not a lot, just enough so that I could tell. Odds are this is what's happening to you, you're probably retaining water and over the next several weeks you will most likely notice that you're stomach is getting smaller, for a little while anyway. I'm now 14 weeks and my family can tell, but to the average onlooker I'm in that phase where I just look a little chubby. Don't stress!! Good luck and congrats to you!!

I agree you may show earlier than before, but at five weeks? That sucker (the embryo) is only the size of an apple seed!.

You're just bloated, hun. The earliest you can possibly actually show (and this is only if you're EXTREMELY thin) is in the third month.

well im on my first and am 7 weeks and 2 days i either look fat or for people who know me know can visually tell im pregnant...im a rather petit person
