I just recently started looking into that college and I think I might like it a lot. I was just wondering if it's actually a good school. You can't really tell from the website because of course they are only gonna post the positives.

I've heard that it has an awesome program in marine biology. And if you watch reruns of Dawson's Creek you will get some idea of the town, D.C. was filmed there. So, too, was the short-lived TV show Surface. Your decision about where to go to college should be based on what the school has to offer in the subject you want to study. And if you haven't decided on a major, stay at home and work at Burger King, or join the military, or attend your local community college. The worse mistake recent high school graduates make is going off to college without knowing why they are spending BIG BUCKS on classes that may not be relvant to their interests. Yes, I know, every school has general education requirements, but the least expensive way to take care of these is at your local community college.

It has a few good programs, but everyone here (Charlotte, NC) says it's a party school. It's not that hard to get into and not really "prestigious", but it's decent.
