Germany is a big enough country to have entirely different weather in different places. Here in the north, there are years when we have no snow at all, or only very few snowy days. Other years present us with months of snow.
Germany also has vast areas of low and medium mountain ranges, and naturally there is much more snow there in winter. There is also the region of the Alps which has snow for a long time of the year in the higher places.
If you tell us your specific interest (like winter sports, driving a car with snow gear, growing crops, or selling ice cream) you might get more specific answers.

I remember examining relating to the unique Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, aka Schneewittchen. in the unique eu folktale of Snow White, the 7 dwarfs DEMANDED that Snow White cook dinner, sparkling and cater to them for safety. She replace into additionally purely sixteen years previous(could be seen a woman on the time), this is technically no longer a woman via present day-day standards. actually, the only element the unique tale has to do with white women is how they have been oppressed and and not employing a guy(the prince) saving them, they have been fantastically lots doomed.

I live in Bavaria and have heard that it really depends on how bad the winter for that year is going to get. Like last year I heard it snowed 40-some inches at one time! But the two years before that you might only see a few inches at a time. I'm hoping for somewhere in between for this year.

Last winter in some places the snow was so deep it threatened the safety of structures and the Fire Brigade and Army were called to help clear it from roofs in some locations.

Hi there,
that depends on what area you are planning to be. If you wanting lots of snow Switzerland would be a great choice. As far as I can judge, in the last 20 years it has been less and less. I acctually just talked to family in Germany today and they still have sun, where it should be freezing cold by now.
You can check weather and predicted snowfall online at "The Weather Channel".

i'm from the Duesseldorf / Cologne area and we rarely get snow. If it snows it turns into slush right away and is gone within an hour or so....
