I have the Bay View Towers overview and other information, but cannot obtain a floor plan of any floors. I am more interested in a floor plan between floors 6 to 16.

I had a Mandalay Bay strip view room in 2008 and a regular room at Bally's in 2006. The smallest rooms at Mandalay Bay are 550 square feet; which is probably half the size of a Bally's grand suite but will be much nicer and more modern. For example the MB bathroom has two sinks and a second TV. Bally's is center strip; MB is at the south end but an easy walk to Luxor, Excalibur, MGM, Tropicana and NY NY which are all megaresorts. Bally's has a small rectangular shaped casino and not much in the way of restaurants and retail shops, although it is connected to Paris via a tunnel that's modeled after an old time Paris street. Mandalay Bay has a huge casino plus lots of extras like the House of Blues, Red Square, Mandalay Place shops, and the Eye Candy high tech bar. For a guy by himself I'd say Bally's. Going with your wife it has to be Mandalay Bay. It's nearly a five star luxury resort while Bally's is a budget property.
