Classy can mean possessing elegance, the attribute of being tastefully designed, decorated and maintaining refined grace and dignified propriety ie unusually effective and simple Visual stimuli are frequently considered elegant if a small number of colors and stimuli are used, emphasizing the remainder. The color white is often associated with elegance, usually along with blue or black.
Trashy is associated with waste, unwanted or undesired material left over after the completion of a process. For example wearing a visually extreme scheme of colors, appearing to have no morals or appearing to be put together in an illogical and over complicated way therefore giving the appearance of being badly or hastily put together.
