Actually I quite like him.....
I have worked in the pub & restaurant trade all my life, and its good to see someone who is passionate about something on telly. Chefs are generally a temperamental lot, and lots of shouting & swearing goes on in a pro kitchen when the pressure is on. I like that Ramsay dosen't try to hide this....
What I DONT like are all the OTHER chefs who are jumping on the bandwagon, trying to make a quick pound....how pretensious is that Heston Blumenthal bloke, and dont you just want to punch Anthony Worral Thompson in the neck???

Not knowing him personally, I can't comment on the actual him! But for his TV persona, I love him! I think he gets to point and takes no prisoners, people ask him to come and help them and if he sees they are not interested in helping themselves, he does not hold back! Why should he, he is a top chef who was asked to help.
These business's need help and when they follow what he says, they end up making a profit!!

No I like him. He is extremely rude but honest and keen as f*** about what he does which I admire. He also makes the idea of cooking a lot more appetising (groan)
I like a person with a bit of balls about them.
I suspect that outside the kitchen he's a little sweety?
of course, i could be wrong!!
incidentally there was something on one of his programmes about trying to explain certain things to a fairly well known tv personality - in the comedy genre i think. It was probably one of the funniest things i have ever seen on British TV. Do you remember who she was and the episode i am referring to?
It had me almost doubled over LOL !!!

I love him. â¥â¥â¥ I love Hell's Kitchen, I think he is tough, very direct, even rude at times. But his methods really work, any chef would be lucky working with him.
