How can you get scratches out of a kitchen table without refinished the whole thing?

Sanding it is the only way to get it out, sorry.

there is also a refinisher that requires you to go over it with steel wool, paper towels and then a poly coating. no sanding.

there is a rubbing compond that you can rub into the crack almost like a wax. but. Just use oil soup. It will "hide" the scratch.

scrub over with a brown wax crayon. polish with vinegar.
