In S.C., One outside of bedrooms, One in Kitchen, and one in laundry. So far quotes are for around 800.

Its pretty time consuming snaking all that wire around three levels. Is it possible to place the alarms so that you can hear them from the bedrooms area? Or, are the building people making you do this?
Anyway, it's difficult to give you a guesstimate without looking at the layout. You might be able to say money by outside wiring, in which case, it would probably cost you between $300 and $600, plus materials.

In a trilevel...Go for it thats a great price...IF they are licensed In In Raleigh NC and for that you would be lookin at about 1200 to 1600$, so 800$ is a great price.
