Good question, what I want to know is who saw a pig rolling around in its own filth and said 'yum that looks tasty lets eat the animal that eats its own crap!'

I love seafood but I've pondered this question before when cracking open a King Crab (many times) and getting cut up in the process. Some poor sot must have been almost starved to death to determine that this might be food. lol
I figure it was sheer desperation. :)

Some of the stuff I've tried, some in regular basis:
1. Curry Ox brain, about once or twice a month
2. Fried chicken liver, abt once a month
3. Fried Ox intestines, abt once a month
4. Sweet soya Ox tongue, abt once every two or three months
5. Fried Chicken heart, abt once or twice a month
We have actual restaurants serving these kind of food here in Indonesia.
It must be one of our ancestors who had the wisdom not to waste other parts of Ox and Chickens.

That's a very good question; that honestly I can't answer. I have no idea how humans figured out all the foods that can be eaten. I also can't figure out why people still eat some foods because of how gross it is. (IE: Spinach, frog legs, etc.) ECK!â¥
