On Monday's episode, Sylar took over the power of another man...he was able to move objects.. I saw that he killed him but I dont understand how he was able to take over his power. What did he do?

I only discovered heroes last weekend and I watched all 10 episodes within days-absolutely love it. from what I understood Sylar carves open the top of his victims heads and takes out a certain section of their brain-the part of the brain that has the supernatural power. that explains why all the others were killed the way they were. I'm not too sure how Sylar got that part of the brain in to his own head though...not sure I want to know either! brilliant show-cant wait to see it next week :D

I know it is all the brain. In the episode where Hiro went tho the future in New York, he went to Isaac's and found him dead with his head cut open and his brain missing and the police found him there and arrested him that is when he saw the nuclear bomb and went back to the present knowing he had to keep that from happening. Anyway, we don't yet know if Sylar actually eats the brains but he definitely needs them. It's interesting because Peter has the same power but he doesn't have to harm anyone in the process, but the effects don't last as long either.

That seems to be the big mystery. Remeber that he is a repairman that seems to be able to figure out immediately how things work and assume after looking at Brian's brain Gabriel figured out what he would have to do to steal his power. I am afraid it involved eating it, but it it is like Highlander all he had to do is be around when the power was freed from Brian and then he received it.

i think is like this, he now how to figure out things work, fro example a computer once you figure out how it works you can use it right, i think is the same he takes the brain find how the power works in the brain and copy's the function in hes Brain, i dont think he eats the brain, he doesn't absorb the power he figures how the ability develops in the brain

I think he ate his brain---remember that was 6 mos previous, and he now has many MORE powers--think of all the people killed & shown with brains removed!
