Don't let anyone pressure you into having sex. There is no good or bad when it comes to virginity. It is entirely up to you. If you have to ask yourself whether or not you are ready to have sex, then you are not ready.

I think that being a virgin is a very good characteristic for a young woman to have. There are far too many young people that believe that they are so much better, older, smarter etc. because they have a lot of experience at a young age. But the sad fact is that when they get a little older they will regret becoming so active so early as when and if they find the person that they want to spend their lives with they will be sorry for being so loose early and many will look back at previous relationship as poor choices and may feel like they have been used also. Do not allow others to dictate to you how you should act and be proud of who you are. And your right also when you say who cares (or who's business is it anyway as sex should be a private event between two people who love each other).

Well, I'm a 27 year old virgin, and praying I stay a virgin until I'm married. Being a virgin is good to me. I don't worry about contracting any STD's and I don't worry about whether or not I'll get pregnant with a baby I may or may not be able to carry due to my health condition. That means I don't have to worry about trying to take care of a baby either, which is good, because with my health condition I require help taking care of myself in some aspects.

It doesn't matter, and it is better to be a virgin until you are married. You are a good girl and you should stay that way and not care. The other people who messed around before they are married made a mistake. You are special, and you don't need a man to look cool, because it isn't. Never change, wait till your wedding day.

Depends on why you're a virgin. Are you young and haven't had any opportunities? Are you waiting for marriage? Is there a compelling religious reason? As long as you are a virgin because its your decision, then there is no shame in your choice. At some point, you'll have to decide when the time is right.......

I think being a virgin is a wonderufl thing and you should be proud of yourself. Not many guys and girls can't say their virgins.
