Hi there, These cars had 2 different ways to adjust idle/tickover but I should be able to help you with both. Your car is on the change from carburettor to injection, so here goes.
1, carb--- warm car up to working temperature or until coolant fan cuts in, the car may have a blue coloured air filter housing fitted, at the rear of the carb under air filter housing, you will find a metal cap with a slot in it. If you can imagine behind the slot, there is a metal plug which has 2 small dents/holes at opposite side of plug. You can buy the special tool which fits into slot that sits in the dents/holes and the plug then has to be turned outwards to turn the idle up or using a small pair of thin long nosed pliers, you can turn plug by inserting ends of pliers through slot into holes/dents and turning plug aswell.
2/ injection--- Warm up car as before and at either the rear most left side or left side of what looks like a carb body there should be a 6mm allen key plug or slotted black plug which can be turned outwards to adjust idle up. This should be carried out on a warm engine and self learning should be reset but thats a job for a NISSAN dealership or competent vehicle technician.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
