Franco, let's use a little common sense here. Does soda pop burn? No. Would it put out a fire? Yes. Does gasoline burn? Yes. Would it put out a fire? Duh./....... Does milk burn? No. Would it put out a fire? of course.
So you have one inflammable item on the list and that gets deep sixed right off the bat.
Now, your choice is between soda pop and milk. When you shake up the soda pop, it fizzes. If you want to spray the pop at something, that would be great and it would be effective. If, however, the fire was in something like a waste basket and you simply wanted to pour something on it to put it out (without the fizzy spray) then you could simply pour the milk onto it.
The soda pop spray is a thin stream, while the milk is a heavy, constant stream. You have to decide what kind of fire you are trying to put out and where it it located, to decide whether the soda pop or the milk would work best. But please don't ever pour gasoline on a fire.

Soda pop and milk would, but I wouldn't use gasoline even though you can extinguish a flame with it, you have the danger of the fumes igniting. Other household items that would put out a fire are baking soda (smother), glass cleaner, liquid detergent, latex paint, and a wet towel. Avoid using flour as a smothering agent because it can flash on you.

now do not try this at home but gasoline in its liquid form will put out a fire quite nicely. It is the mixture of gas and air that will get you in trouble. So really any of the liquids would put out a fire. Anything that gets between a fire and its source of oxygen will work. Do not experiment with gas the fire might well set off the fumes before you get it on the fire but in theory it will work.

Gasoline is flammable and will definitely not put out a fire. Soda pop and milk will probably work on certain fires....good luck

Not the gasoline!!!! That would only make the fire spread larger!!! I would think that soda and milk would work just as water would.

gasoline would be a bit iffy but under the right conditions it could ( you first )
GASOLINE the vapors burn but the liquid does not so cold gas will not ignite ( of course if you disturb it LOL) - there is a flash point for all flammables and they will not burn below it which is why cars are hard to start in extreme cold and diesels must be preheated to run at all )
