the mobile network can do that for you, but i do not know if they will.
they can triangulate the location of the phone based on the distance from its base stations but i doubt they extend this service to their customers. ppl will start calling them after they misplace them under their pillows. but law enforcement often uses this service to locate people using the phone.

the phone people probably can...but you cant. not a service thats available yet i think
