I'm having a lot of trouble learning the purl stitch but want to make some things using only the knit stitch. I found a site w/knit stitch-only patterns but unfortunately didn't bookmark it. If anyone knows which site this was, please let me know.

You've already been given a number of pattern sites to visit and I'm not aware of any that are garter stitch only.

There is a book that concentrates on knitting only. It is called "The Knitting Experience: Book 1: The Knit Stitch" by Sally Melville.

When you're ready to try purling again, take a look at this web site, it has videos that show different methods of purling:

I wasnt sure what exactly you were wanting to knit, but here are some websites that have the basic garter (knit) stitch. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure what specific site you're looking for, but I did a google search for garter stitch patterns (knit every row) and came up with a good amount of hits: http://www.google.com/search?hs=AoX&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=free+garter+stitch+patterns&btnG=Search

I hope you find the site you're looking for, and if not, there's something else that suits you!

Try www.freepatterns.com, they have both knit and crochet patterns. The knitting patterns are everything from beginner to advanced.

Also check out www.lionbrand.com, they have free patterns also.
