ill explain why also
!: you can copy the songs on your ipod to another computer. . . i found a way how but you have to rename all the songs.
2: It dosent have an on off switch.
3: It freezes sometimes and i have to wait for the battery to die inorder to use it again. (would be okay if it had an on off switch)

I know this isn't answering your question but I was handing a creative zen vision W at the store last week and it seemed to work wonderfully. If only I had $300 to waste. I have a zen nano plus and it works great. There have been a few bugs but creative has great tech support, really prompt and they actually solved my problems.
