There has to be more to it than that. In my case, I don't like some of my daughters friends and their habits, maybe an age difference, and maybe the type of movie. I know that when someone wants to do something they will find a way, believe me, "been there, done that". Try and see what the problem is and try and work on an agreement. Also keep one very important thing in mind, if she did not love you and care for you, she would not be so strict.

Well I've been going to the movies with my friends since I was around 9.
Try compromising.
Take a cell phone so after the movie you can call her to pick you up.
Just stay inside the building until she comes.
That was me and my mom's deal and it turned out fine.
If you're in a group you're ok.

Say,"Mom, I know you care about me & that's why you won't let me go to the movies with my friends. I understand that that's the whole reason you do it & I appreciate you caring about me so much, but you have to realize that I'm growing up, Mom. (If you have a cellphone, say>) I'll bring my cellphone & I'll be with my friends. I won't be alone. I'll call you if anything happens. Please, Mom? I promise I'll be smart & I'll even do chores around the house to show you my responsibility. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but I need your approval. Please?" respect her decision.... she's MOM, the all knowing one. So find a new group of friends or take up hobbies to fill your time.

really there is nothing you can do maybe she thinks your too young still it's hard to let go of our kids she'll come around

if u are over 15 years old then u should go. tell her that u should be able 2 go out with freinds and tell her that u can handle yourself

sneak out..no harm no foul. just dont do somethin stupid and you'll be fine. if they cant give u a good reason why you shouldnt, then jst go. dont miss out jst because of some stupid reason
