How are sex cells different from body cells?

this is another science question again. kinda need help =//

They're haploids (contain only half a string of DNA). Regular cells are diploids. Also, sex cells are for the pupose of reproduction while regular cells are for mantenaince and repair.

Sex cells have half the number of chromosomes than the body cells. SO if the body cell has 42 chromosomes , sex cells have 21. So when an egg cells(21 chromo) gets united with a sperm cell(21 chromo) you have a human being complete with 42 chromosaomes.

They have half as much DNA as body cells... the body's cells have 2 of each chromosome while the sex cells have one copy of each chromosome.
