At our custody exchange my ex wife video tapes me?? What is your opinion on this.?

My x pulls up in front of my house honks for our daughter to run out to the minivan. If I step out on the porch i get my picture taken and just lately she was videotaping me?? I had to call the police the last exchange because she had someone watching the exchange from across the street in the dark. Should I be concerned?? The police said it is a public street and they couldn't so anything. My daughter cries on the way to the van...Any suggestions??? Dad just wanting to see his daughter without exwife interferrring

Just be calm and don't give her anything to take to court. Don't fight or argue with her. She will try to use as much as she can to get full custody and for you to have supervised visits. Don't let her get anything she can use against you. Instead start collecting evidence against her. Like voice-mails that she has left on your answering machine cusing or bashing you and anything of that nature. I would get a private investigator to follow her and get pictures of her doing things that are not right. That way you have evidence against her.

Set up a camera so you can video tape her video taping you. Actually, the video tape could be used to your advantage. If everything is going well with you and your daughter during the visit, what harm could the video do? It does seem extreme, but it probably does more to prove who is the wacko of the parents if you should ever need to re-visit the custody issue.

if you are still goin through a divorce then she is just trying to get some bad stuff on you. when she arrives to pick up your daughter, always walk out with her that way your ex can't say you aren't supervising her. always do your best and be the better parent. even if the divorce is final....continue to document everything your ex-wife does or says. that way should she ever take you back to court, you have written documentation of all the events that have happened leading up to that day in court.

and get nasty back....when you walk out the door have a camera or video cam and take HER picture instead.

She is trying to get recorded dirt on you. DONT GIVE HER ANY. My advice is to do the same. She is setting you up. Problem is you can't be sure of what. She'll eventually get something that she later can go back and accuse you of so she then has her "reason" for video taping you. Protect yourself. She wants to rip your daughter away from you, PERIOD..Record her recording you so you have motive for her insane actions. Have your own witnesses. Dont take this lightly.

Your ex wife is a little on the crazy side. It seems like she is trying to catch you doing something wrong and trying to gather up all the evidence that she can. Divorce is hell especially when there are children involve. Just make sure that she has nothing newsworthy on tape.
