Make sure your usb plug is in correctly on both ends.

Open up itunes if it dosen't already.

Try to re-plug each end in.

Something should pop up, or it should say "do not disconect... updating ipod " or sum'm

Connecting an iPod is a marvel of simplicity - if done right.

1 Open iTunes
2 Important: Make sure your USB connector is connected directly to the computer's USB port (not at some extension, like on the the keyboard)

If you're properly connected, iTunes should "see" the iPod, and show an iPod icon under the iTunes folders.

ITunes will then ask you what you want to do.

At that point you can download/sync the entire content of your iTunes folder, or put your your favorites in a speclal folder and tell iTunes to download/sync that folder.

1. Plug the iPod into your computer's USB port with the included USB plug.
2. Open iTunes (if it doesn't automatically).
3. Select the song you want to put on you iPod from the iTunes library (to select multiple items, hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and select all the items you want on your iPod.)
4. When you are done selecting, click and drag the selection to in the iTunes source list.
5. Wait until the son completes the transfer to your iPod.
6. You are done, the song should be on the iPod.
7. Turn on the iPod, select music, select the way you want to search your songs, and enjoy listening to the music.

this ones tricky it took me awhile to figure it out too Connect your I P.O.S (I POD) to your computer Via USB cable if you choose to sync it will do it automaticly
However if you have to much music on your I tunes it wont work for you without setting up a new folder.
on your side bar it will show an Icon with the name of your ipod open your ipod and the tab that says music check the "sync Music " box then click "apply in the bottom right corner
if you want to do the click and drag method you need to uncheck the box "sync music" and you will be able to drag it from your i tuens libary to your I pod
there is also a Summary tab that you need to visit if you want to do the click and drag method check the box next to "manualy manage music and videos" then click OK then apply
I hope this helps

Go into the itunes program, make sure u are connected to the Internet and go into the itunes store, it'll either add them or put them into a "shopping cart" get them from your shopping cart if that's what you use and download............you will need to type in your Apple id and password.........It's easiest for me to buy the itunes cards at a local store and just add it to your account

Im sure you have it hooked up to your USB port. However I had a problem that Itunes would no see the pod if I had it hooked up to a USB port that was infront of my computer (not enough power) as soon as I hooked it up to the USB on the back of my computer if Synced up fine.

all you have to do is plug the thing into the USB port. itunes should load automatically and start to upload the songs onto it. email me or hit me up on instant messenger if you're still having problems
