Friends are really hard to come by. There are acquaintances, alot of them. But a true friend takes some time.
See how they treat people behind their backs. Do they lie?
Are they backstabbers? What kind of people do they hang out with? Birds of a feather..flock together.
Just DO NOT tell anyone anything that you wouldn't mind being plastered all over the place.
Maybe try telling them something kinda juicy and see how far it goes. It doesn't have to be too real. But something that you think they would have a hard time keeping their mouth shut.
Money is something that should never be a problem. It should all be equal spending...not writing it all down...just casually equal.
I only have 3 friends...and one is my husband.

i always look for lies if i get a lot of inconsistency then i back away, i look for reliability if this person says one thing and does another all the time then i back away, if this person always does all the talking and doesnt have time to listen then i back away...friend or acquaintance i dont rely on any one or trust many with my self...there are no true friends in life...each for his own

I talk to them a lot, shares stories, and opinions. I also listen when they talk to others, if they then have different opinions or change their stories then they're fake.
