I just bought medieval 2 total war. Its a new game but it won't run well on my 6 month old computer. my computer doubles all the requirements and has direct x 9.0. please help me or tell me where i can get help.

Are all your other apps that you don't need open, closed? Programs that are running in the background might be causing the issue, so I would shut down the programs you don;t need running and then try to play.

Do you have a whole bunch of other programs running while your trying to play? That might be the problem.

Have you updated your video card?
I had to get a new video card because mine didn't support the pixel shading in the new games.
