missing one pill shouldn't hurt you. but call your doc to make sure.

You know, I wasn't going to answer this one, and then I read that UTTER B.S. about the pill taking three months to become effective and became so insane with rage I had to correct it.

Anyway. Yes, skipping a pill can certainly cause you to have off-period spotting and cramping... particularly if you are prone to that sort of thing. If your pain is severe or your bleeding is heavy, go see your doctor, as it could be something more serious, otherwise just suck it up and do whatever you normally do for your periods. It will probably go away by your next packet.

You have, however, put yourself at an increased risk of pregnancy, although a slight one. Use a backup method for the rest of this pack. Three months is complete overkill.

Most likely. If you miss pills usually that's what happens. The bleeding shouldn't last more then a couple days. If it does, contact your doctor.

Yup. If I were you, I'd be more worried if I DIDN'T bleed when I missed it. By the way, missing a pill makes it ineffective for the next three months. It takes three ENTIRE cycles for birth control to re-gain its effectiveness. If you have trouble missing pills, I'd recommend a birth control shot.
