I quite often feel the sense of loneliness and am not ashamed to admit to it. Just the past weekend my fiance was away on an art retreat and I missed her madly and did feel lonely. Majority of the time I can deal with these feelings but when feeling a little blue or insecure can get that feeling.

Does a human feel hungry? It's not a question of female versus male anymore, as a human we have tendency to feel left out. A lot of people will say they never feel lonely, but usually it's more that they don't know they are lonely, it's such a strange concept to them, it's just really alienated from what they think they feel. i think the closer someone is to a friend, the time you are not together creates a sense of lonliness. there are only a few people im that close to, but i could be at a party with many people and still feel alone because im not with one of those friends. ill tell you i never used to get lonely until i made close friends like that.
