It takes me ages to fall asleep all the time, i just need a way to get to sleep faster!

well i have the exact same problem because i would always take forever to go to sleep so u shopuld try drinking warm milk like put it in the microwave for at least 30 to 40 seconds and then drink it then turn every thing of ( tv,l ights, computer) basically anything thats loud and shut ur eyes and the next thing you know ur asleep its actually a proven fact that it makes you fall asleep you can try listening to soft music if you have any and see if that also works

take your hands and wrap them around your neck LOL. no not really i have the same problem i just go and close the door and make the room as dark as i can turn the clock around so you can't see it.turn off every thing that makes noise and that has lights on it make it so you can't see any thing than lay down and get conferable.before you know it you will be asleep.if that doesn't work go to your doctor or you could try some thing from the store like some kind of PM stuff.good luck or should i say good night LOL.

I had that problem and went to a sleep clinic. It turned out that I have severe apnea and was given a CPAP machine. Now I fall asleep within minutes and remain asleep all night.

Do something to make you tired during the day. Don't try sleeping pills - & don't ask your partner to hit you over the head with a mallet. If you are too hot, open a window or turn on a fan to cool down. Try reading or make yourself a hot drink.

Sometimes I have the same problem and I just take a 10-15 minute bath (bubbles if you prefer :). It will relax your muscles so much. But make sure you do it right before you go to bed. It works for me! Good luck!

Warm milk really does the trick. The heat speeds up your digestive system and the calcium relaxes your body and helps you fall asleep.
Or you can try taking calcium supplements with milk. before bed.

I bought a relaxation tape, and I've never heard the end of it yet. I always fall asleep well before then.

I find the reason i can't get to sleep is because i'm thinking too much about what happened that day. So i just stop thinking.
