I am looking for another job, but meanwhile I have to work with her.
Other people have issues with her to and it's already been brought up with the boss. He says he will do something about her; problem is, she's good at her job, even if she annoys the hell out of the rest of us!
I just need to not explode for the next few weeks so I'm looking for 'how to stay calm' ideas....

Jealous? That's funny.....
That would mean we were all jealous of someone who makes assinine comments, gives mis-information and goes behind peoples backs.... hmm.... Jealous? I don't think so.....

Confronting her is out of the question, we (collectively) have already approached our boss, so it's our of our hands now.

I am following the suggestions of one answer .... music, mp3 player, ignore her as much as possible... seems the only way to go at the moment...

As soon as you enter the office, say to yourself----"IT's SHOWTIME!"
tHen you pretend you are an actor, and that you have to be nice and cool to this co-worker. Or you can just simply IGNORE HER, close your eyes and ears whenever she's around. Get an Ipod, and listen to it when she's there. Keep yourself extremely busy so you won't have space for her.

Stop being jealous and just live with it. I work with a bunch of hard to work with type of co-workers too, and I have no choice which and where I work, because no matter where anyone works there is bound to have a co-worker who is hard to work along side with.

I would just ignore her.

At my job theres always someone complaining about someone and managment just sits down at lunch laughing about all the "whiners" and "complainers"
